Thousands of records. Flip while you wait.

The crates line the wall from the door to the counter. Records come from vendors all over the country, and we carry turntables and stereo gear too.

Liner notes

Spinning in downtown Ames since 2009.

It opened as the Vinyl Cafe in 2009. Blake Delaney took over in 2012 and rebuilt almost every inch of it by hand: the floor, the walls, the bar. His art is on the walls, and there's usually a record on the turntable.

Bonus track

Local bands, small room.

The shop doubles as an intimate venue for local bands now and then.
